Extrication Drill tonight at Cody with Granby Center FD. Thank You Tony McIntyre from Jerome's for demonstrating Amkus Tools and allowing us to use and learn new techniques.

Last evening we had an extrication drill , used many tools to cut apart the vehicle to get our 2 victims, being treated by fire department ems, out safely and turn over care to ems on the ambulance. We would like to Thank the 2 "victims" that volunteered their time from the Menter EMS Academy and Menter Ambulance for bringing an ambulance so we could all learn and better ourselves in the case of an emergency.

Activated for a Gas Line Leak. Cody VFD assisted Granby Center VFD along with Minetto , Oswego County Sheriff's, NYSP , OS600 , OS500 to evacuate tenants from their residence for their safety. National Grid was able to shut off the gas leak. Centro Bus brought a bus to the scene to get the residence out of the cold and have a place to stay until it was safe to return to their residence. All departments returned back to service without incident.
