This is a newer model of an UV light Cell Phone Sterilizer. As I introduced to you previously, it is also used to sterilize personal surgical and cloth mask. One mask fits nicely in the box. You close the lid, press the "Coating" button on the left side, on top, and a speaker announces "Disinfection in process". The blue light indicator turn on at 25%, 50%, 75%, and then 100% completion, light went off, and the speaker announces this time " Disinfection done". Total time is 5 minutes of the process. I keep the mask at a 45 degree angle so the light went through the front and back of the mask. Attention: you must let the UV light cools down in a few minutes before it works again for the next ground.

Revised Second Newsletter Regarding Office Reopening Dear Patients: As the COVID-19 crisis continues, your health and well-being remains our primary concern. We are deeply committed to helping you and your family stay safe. That being said, we wish to inform you that due to safety concerns surrounding this current pandemic, we will remain closed for the time being and expect a possible reopening by May 5, 2020. Our office is still waiting for the appropriate personal prot...ective equipment (PPE) to arrive in order to ensure your safety. In the meanwhile, as Bill Gates has implied, we're almost at the peak of the outbreaks. Hopefully, we can, "flatten the curve" in the next few weeks if we practice strict social distancing and isolation. I will inform everyone in the last week of April, as to our modified office policy to meet safety standards of disinfection and sanitation. Part of the protocol for those wishing to come in for an Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) will be signing a waiver of liability. Since OMT work is hands-on and patient proximity so close, we're both at high risk of this Coronavirus, even if you may have already built immunity to fight it. There are just not enough studies out there yet to determine who is, or is not, transmitting this disease. This waiver will deem both patient and doctor harmless. BEWARE of the antibody rapid tests that may be available as early as this week. None of them are FDA approved yet (only emergency approval thus far). Further scientific review is required before reliability can be proven. The rapid tests may tell you that you have antibodies to Coronavirus, yet they do not disclose precisely how your immunity will hold up to the 20 variant strains. Therefore, it is no guarantee that you would never get the COVID-19 disease again. I will continue to be on high alert, reading articles from reliable medical sources to disseminate factual information to all of you as it comes in.
