Ernest Walter's passed away this morning from complications due to COPD and lung cancer. He been at the Yonkers Gospel Mission longer than anyone else. For decades he lived with us, up until we closed. A simple man with many issues including brain injuries. We are thankful for the Lord and His saving grace in Ernests life and on into eternity.

We still pray, praying for the thousands of men who had come through the doors of the mission over decades. So many found salvation after they had keft the mission, so many who were saved have found trials and difficulties..... Join us and pray for those who have come and gone..

Join us for the Men's Retreat. The subject of study will be Gods way vs. man's way and the results with the lens of dispensations.

Filled with mixed emotions as I found out former resident of the mission Bryan Baker has passed away. From when he lived at the mission to becoming such a good Bible teacher and was commended to the preaching of Gods word. His help over the years at the Yonkers Gospel mission with discipleship of the men as well as being on the board of directors was more than valuable. He struggled with health problems and came close to death so many times. With multiple heart surgeries, an artificial heart valve, multiple strokes as well as serious diabetes problems. We will miss our dear friend and Are happy for him as his health struggles are gone and he is with his Savior.

What a great week where former director of the Yonkers Gospel Mission met up with a former resident, serving side by side at camp for a week along with his son. Praise the Lord for the bond of the family of God.
