Our late vegetable starts are ready to plant. These are prime young plants sown for planting now. Zucchini (spineless Beauty, 45 days), Yellow Squash (Enterprize, 41 days) , Cherry Tomatoes (Gardener's Delight, 65 days), and Sprouting Broccoli (Di Cicco, 48 days, continuous harvests). Plenty of time for a good yield. We're planting now for a good strong extended harvest. In 806 cell packs at $2.95 ea or 8 (mix and match) at $21.95, while supplies last.

We are harvesting garlic scapes now. On sale at $1. pound. Chop them and add to your favorite recipe or process into a pesto. Tonight it's garlic scape pesto, olive oil , and shrimp.

Time to plant sweet potatoes. very easy crop to grow. just 90 days

Asparagus crowns are in. Can be ordered by phone at 607-278-6909

Zinnias are as anxious as all of us to welcome the warm weather and getting out.

Was a good day to get the gardens tilled. Thanks Bill for getting this done. Alex and I will be planting potatoes today. Garden season is on.

As we enter the season for planting Cabbage, Broccoli, Kohlrabi, and all, it's nice to remember where they all come from. We have all these in cell packs.
