O God, you bridged the distance; you opened wide your door. You call us by our presence to reach to serve the poor. You teach us: Welcome strangers! Seek justic...e on the earth! May those we choose as leaders see every person's worth. You call on every nation to put aside all greed, To care for your creation and for your ones in need, To care for those in prison, for children, for the ill. In times of great decision, may we choose leaders well. Carolyn Winfrey Gillette, from the hymn, "In Times of Great Decision" _________________ We've crafted a simple at-home liturgy of hope & release to help us navigate tomorrow (and the days and weeks to come). We hope it can offer you sacred pause as creation groans and we pray for a world made new. https://sanctifiedart.org//resources-for-election-season-a

Dearly beloved, Thank you to all who were able to participate in yesterday's Congregational meeting. After hearing a few more details from Julie Noce, Executive director of Brewster Cares, the congregation voted (21-5) to approve being a sleeping site for the newly formed homeless shelter. Irene & Charlie Germain will be attending a coordinators meeting later this week to work out the schedule for each of the sites. As in the past, we will be looking for people to provide m...eals and/or sleep overnight. We will be using Fellowship Hall (upstairs) and have special air purifiers (donated) to help with circulation. If you have any questions and/or if you would like to volunteer, please contact myself, the church office and/or Irene and Charlie. Peace & blessings in Christ, Pastor Jen
