Happy to report that Amazon Prime has now made the Two Worlds of William March available for streaming in the U.S. and U.K. March, from Mobile, Alabama. was a contemporary of William Faulkner and like him a harsh critic of his native South even in his blockbuster 1954 novel The Bad Seed. Unlike Faulkner he was a combat veteran of World War I and forever marked for it, his 1933 novel Company K ranked with Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front.

The one hour film Alabama Black Belt Blues, produced in partnership with Alabama Public Television will be featured in a national ITVS/PBS online preview of the show Tuesday October 20 at 8 p.m.Eastern time (7 p.m. in Alabama). The program includes two 13 minute clips from the film to be premiered on APT October 23 and a panel discussion/call-in show that includes director Bob Clem, African American folklorist Kern Jackson, singer B.J. Reed of the Alabama Blues Project, folklorist Joey Brackner and Tina Jones of the Center for the Study of the Black Belt.
