Today's thoughts I'm sitting here in my office reflecting on my week. I've talked to many postal works and wonder why they are so negative about everything. God didn't make us to give up,give in or give out. I want to talk about the word CHANGE.... They say things will never change so why vote, the post office will never change so why fight. My Co workers will never change that's why I don't deal with them. Let's use the word CHANGE IN A DIFFERENT CONTEXT WHY DON'T YOU STAND BEHIND YOUR UNION FOR A CHANGE. WHY DON'T YOU PROVIDE THE UNION WITH A STATEMENT FOR A CHANGE. WHY DON'T YOU FILL OUT POOR SAFETY PRACTICE REPORTS FOR A CHANGE (1767'S). WHY DON'T YOU STOP BLAMING THE UNION FOR A CHANGE. WHY DON'T YOU COME TO UNION MEETINGS FOR A CHANGE. I CAN GO ON AN ON BUT YOU GET THE IDEA. My grandfather once said if you really want to hurt someone's feeling tell them the truth. here is the truth nothing from nothing leaves nothing. you receive what you put out so ask yourself the question what have you put out lately. Maybe if you're honest with yourself with your answer then maybe you'll truly Change!!! Or blame the real problem yourself for a change! Jonathan Smith
