March 16, 2020 The Springfield Library Board of Trustees and Library Director have been carefully monitoring the Coronavirus situation. On Saturday, Department of Health and Otsego County health officials declared Otsego County in a State of Emergency. Four County Library System has suspended delivery. It is time to increase vigilance at the library. Springfield Library will be closed beginning Tuesday March 17th until further notice. We will reassess the situation regula...rly and will announce when the library will re-open. During this time: Overdue fines will be waived. Please disregard any overdue notices you may receive. You may still return items in the outside book returns. Holds that are in the library will be held until reopening. You may check out eBooks, eMagazines and eAudiobooks on your computer or download the app on your smart phone. Flipster has magazines. Libby and Overdrive have audiobooks and ebooks. You can call 315.858.5802 and leave a message if you need your PIN number. We will check our messages weekly.
