So often in life things that you regard as impediment turn out to be great good fortune - Ruth Bader Ginsberg I know I can speak for many of us in saying good bye and good riddance to 2020! For me personally, I have truly learned a lot! This year has changed my inner core and although this year was so challenging... deep down I know that I personally needed this shift to happen. 5 POINT PHYSICAL THERAPY looks very different as it enters into 2021, but its core foundatio...ns remain the same. We pride ourselves on the care we give, the customer service we offer, and the the empathy we feel with every patient we see. We will never stop learning to do better, be better and help our patients in every way we can. On December 30th, 2020 both Deena and I made history. We were lucky enough to be in the first round to be vaccinated in NJ. On January 6th, Gwen will join us in this remarkable history in NYC! WELCOME BACK COREY! . . Corey is a Pelvic PT who got her start work with an oncology population at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. While there, her passion grew for working with people in all stages of recovery, helping people decrease pain and restore their function . Since arriving at 5 Point physical therapy, she has developed a new love for working with women prenatally and postpartum, as well as all genders with chronic pelvic pain disorders. She is a cert...ified lymphedema therapist and is also trained in classical Pilates. As a newly minted New Jersey resident, she is thrilled to be treating again in the New Jersey office. Welcome back Deena!!!!!!! Deena is a Pelvic PT with over 15 years of experience treating all genders with pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions. She has also been featured on the Today Show’s Modern Motherhood series in a segment highlighting pelvic floor PT for postpartum conditions. Before relocating to NYC she worked for Northwestern Medicine’s Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Program in Chicago, IL. Deena now works in our New Jersey office and is loving being back... to helping patients!
