A memorable and surprisingly very difficult yet humbling moment as an arts educator happened in December 2017 when I was asked to Judge a group of wonderful elementary students' artworks for the West Nyack Elementary PTA Sponsored Reflections Arts Competition. In May 2018 I had the honor of addressing all the students and their families who participated in all the arts categories at the award ceremony.
