Its customer projects like this that are at the core of what A3 is built around - blending industrial elements with classic woodworking. ECI IO-520 cylinder envisioned as a lamp. All brass elements were custom machined to suit the build save for the hex nuts. I really enjoyed employing a mix of modern techniques using CAD software and a CNC to produce the cover plates and engraving on the brass, with old school machinist skills of hand cutting threads for the non-standard s...ize of the EGT plug NOTE: For any of my friends who know Hotel Whiskey - Please DO NOT show him any of these pictures, it is a surprise reveal for the customer.
