A seasonal and nourishing lunch for a brisk autumn Sunday. Eating with the seasons is an easy and important way to stay healthy. As the seasons change we want to nourish our digestive system with cooked foods and warming spices that are red or brown. Foods that are yellow or orange are rich in vitamins A, C, potassium, beta-carotenes and more. I baked these acorn squash with raw honey, a little butter and sprinkled with cinnamon. It fills me with warmth and happiness. Kind of like eating a hug something we’re getting less of this year. #healthyfood #acupuncture #upperwestsidenyc #nyc
