When there is no time to go see your Esthetician, there certainly are ways to achieve a glowing skin real fast, that will help to give you a natural, professional looking makeup finish. The tips for achieving a flawless makeup finish every single time! Great tips to help you brighten up your face before dinner or a party: 1. Start with a clean canvas- your foundation will look as good as the skin underneath, so maintaining a consistent skin care routine is key. 2. Leave your full skin care routine for the night of the event. eg: cleanse, exfoliation, tone, serum, mask and moisturizer. 3. Gentle exfoliation is powerful- it will remove the dead skin cells, which will leave your skin soft and smooth. That is the biggest key to even tone and flawless makeup application, because you won't have to pile on a pound of makeup. A little bit will go along way. It will also help your foundation from cracking or looking flaky. 4. Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate- hydrating toner, hydrating serum, moisturize and massage upward for a couple minutes. That will drive the product in and plump the skin for a more radiant and bright look. Utilizing a jade roller is always another option, it will wake up your face and get your blood circulation going, so that your face doesn’t look dull and blah. 5. Do not use harsh scrub beads- otherwise you will leave the skin red and irritated which will create a different contrast and may just leave you looking purple with your foundation. 6. Take time to prime- a primer may add an additional step to your makeup routine, but it helps to even out your Skin tone for a shade that ultimately looks truer. Set it and forget it- depending on the look you are going for you can set it with a toner or setting spray then set it with a setting powder.
