Accelerate ABA

Congratulations to our newest Accelerate team members, Desirée and Julia, who recently passed their certification exams to become Registered Behavior Technicians! We are proud to have four, full-time RBTs. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Becoming an RBT shows investment and commitment to clients and families. As RBTs, they have demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional and educational development. We are fortunate to have them on our team and see the great work they do teaching children everyday. There’s no greater reward than being able to help others!

Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving! As a reminder, we are closed Wednesday-Friday and hope everyone enjoys time with their family. This week, our clients had fun with Thanksgiving themed activities. Each day, our clients participate in small group and themed activities in addition to their individualized programs. We are excited to share that Accelerate ABA is growing! . We have outgrown our clinic in the 8 short months that we have been open and are excited to be expanding to another suite within our building. . The new space will offer 8 additional 1:1 therapy rooms, a group room, an art & sensory room, a large motor/play room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. We will be working with the same designer that helped us choose our current clinic layout and finishes. An inviting, fun and c...omfortable space is so important for our client’s learning! . To ring in fall, this week’s theme is all things apples Our sensory bin changes every week with the theme. There are so many skills that can be taught through exploration and play and a sensory bin is a great way to do this.
