Our Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program Coordinators have received the newly issued Department of Health guidance on visitation in Nursing Homes that will begin Friday Feb. 26th. They will be reaching out to the facilities' staff as those facilities are developing plans to put in place. This will help to best inform our callers of how they can visit a loved one in a Nursing Home. It was hosted by the Long-Term Care Community Coalition which sponsors two regions of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program in NY. This webinar helps to explain vaccinations and answers questions regarding safety, efficacy, and rights regarding vaccination for those in Long-Term Care.
