Adecco is currently recruiting for Mechanical Assemblers for an established customer on the East Side of Rochester! These are temp to hire positions on the A Shift with starting pay at $14/hour. A qualified candidate would be responsible for the production of small electronic/mechanic parts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, stakers, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders Rota...tes in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader Packs finished product for shipment Maintains work area in accordance with established housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment Actively participates in making cell improvements, suggests and helps implement Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards Performs such similar, comparable or related duties as may be required REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent Standing required to perform essential duties Minimum 1-year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices Experience using computer keyboard Proven attainment of quality standards Experience working from blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer orders Excellent, proven attendance record Ability to lift to 30 lbs of material manually Must be able to work overtime

Adecco is looking for Product Selectors/Warehouse Clerks for an established grocer in Rochester. The qualified candidate will have a current Forklift Certification, be available to work either a B or C shift and be responsible for picking, packing, and selecting products. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate motorized warehouse equipment, current forklift certification required Unpack, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged goods, record shortages, and relay informati...on to supervisor Perform computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods Ship and receive goods and supplies to be sold to customers or placed in storage Maintain accurate inventory counts Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Pack product for outgoing shipments to end user REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent Current Forklift certification Standing, bending, lifting, and twisting required to perform essential duties Proven, positive work experience in a team environment Previous use of motorized warehouse equipment desired Excellent, proven attendance record Ability to lift to 50 lbs. of material manually Working off shift and overtime hours are required
