This morning we received the sad news. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Grand Master Mamady Keïta. He was such an immense inspiration and hero to the entire Djembe community, the music of Africa, and any hand drummer on the planet. A true ambassador of the vibrant culture of Guinea, his musical presence touched every corner of the world. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
