ADG is proud to have been chosen as an AIA NYS 2020 Design Award Winner! The jury members stated, We know that this is a long list, but these are deserving recipients from a strong class of submittals that survived considerable scrutiny. This represents the strength and talent of AIA New York State members. Out of the 42 award recipients, the jury also selected one project considered to be the Best of the Best which will be announced at the end of the virtual awards ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

We loved designing this Middletown bakery and café with a great client. The adaptive reuse of a Revolutionary War era historic residence and ammunition mill in...to a café/bakery with second floor offices above includes a gut renovation of the original structure, while maintaining the historical exposed post and beam structure and wide plank floors. An inviting new wrap-around porch with outdoor seating was designed to complement the historic structure. We can't wait for the completion! See more
