Reopen medical model adult day health care programs!

Continued closure of ADHC programs is driving up preventable hospitalizations and admissions to rehabilitation centers. Thanks for sticking with us WNYT NewsChannel 13 and Benita Zahn.

Reopen medical model adult day health care (ADHC) programs!

ADHC staff from around the state, including Kim Hare from The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell ADHC program in Valatie, are getting vaccinated to safely care for registrants. Way to go Kim!

Benita Zahn and WNYT NewsChannel 13 do it again! Thank you for sharing this important story on adult day health care and how the closures are impacting Capital Region residents. Adult day health care is the only health care facility unable to provide in-person services. We need to reopen these programs!

We are so grateful to WNYT NewsChannel 13 for bringing attention to this amazing family and important issue. We will continue to work on reopening Adult Day Health Care programs.
