It can be wall-mounted or freestanding, functioning as a space divider, or pla...ced adjacent to a large glass opening. As it is modular, it can fit different sizes, widths and heights. The planters and shelving units can be easily moved around, allowing a variety of configurations. The plants are watered with an automated #dripirrigationsystem for easy and efficient maintenance. Located in central Arizona, Arcosanti is an unfinished experiment in creating an alternative urban environment that began in the early 70s. The environmental an...d ecological ideas of the late Paolo Saleri, who envisioned this city-to-be, are more relevant than ever today (though unfortunately his character has recently been revealed as very questionable).
