Two fishing creels out the door today...

Latest batch of packbaskets all woven, stained, dry, strapped and ready for shipping this afternoon.

Latest three completed packbaskets: By chance, this photo shows my three stain choices. The 21" mushroom hunter's pack on the left is finished in red oak and is destined to be shipped to a mushroom hunter in Fairbanks, Alaska. The 15" child's pack in the center is stained in my black walnut mixture and is headed to Massachusetts and will be a four year old's birthday present. The 21" pack on the right is done in golden oak stain and is soon to be on its way to an avid hiker in Maine. And now, back to the weaving shop to work on the next order...

Haven't posted any packbasket photos lately. Seems "stay-at-home due to COVID-19" causes folks to order things on line. I still have a long order list even after finishing these and others. Weaver job security, I guess. Some of these are destined for use by hikers and others will be used by mushroom hunters. I have been shipping to many locations, mostly here in the northeast and into the far northwest. The 17" pack shown here has two front pouches for water bottles, GPS uni...ts, etc. I hadn't woven a pouched pack in quite a few years. Weaving steadily but still running behind where I'd like to be on my order list. Well, back to the weaving table...
