House of Rudolph Virkler, 1834 pioneer settler and Mennonite minister for about a decade, on the Black Creek Road that was taken in August 1975. About a month later, the building was torn down and destroyed. He had built a log cabin prior to this home. The Virkler family helped form the Evangelical Baptist Church.
