Update on COVID-19 and how it affects our daily routine here at Adirondack Neurology Associates. Dear valued patients: First let me thank you for your continued support during this difficult time in the world. On behalf of our providers and staff I would like to take a moment to let you, our patients, know that Adirondack Neurology is here for you. And we will continue to be here for you. Our providers feel very strongly about this and are committed to remaining availabl...e to our patients. As we may not be frontline providers, we are essential providers. Essential in that we must do our part to take care of our patients that experience medical crisis during this time. We have many many patients with chronic and severe disease such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, stroke, TIA. The list goes on. We remain here in the office available to you, for if we do not, these chronically ill patients that have an emergency or exacerbation could ultimately end up in the ER simply because we were unavailable and they had nowhere else to go. This is the last thing we want for our patients. Our staff is taking every last precaution to keep our office as safe and compliant with the rules that have been put into place by our Governor. First and foremost social distancing. Lower traffic through the office. Sanitizing between each and every patient. These are just to name a few. Through all this we are here for you. Our office will continue to keep appointments as scheduled and will be triaging telephone vs on site appointments. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions. This is a very good article... Adirondack Neurology is one of the very few private practices left in the area.. we are not hospital owned or based. Our providers have privileges at Glens Falls Hospital, they do see patients there and have for over thirty years. We appreciate the kindness of all referrals.
