Paradox Brewery is seeking a driven experienced service industry professional to lead our front of house operations. This position is open to all applicants tha...t fit the description below. PHYSICAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS o A minimum of 3 years management experience in a restaurant or taproom setting o Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate others o Ability to effectively communicate with staff and customers o Passion for craft beer and customer service o Must be able to independently lift 50lbs and move 165lbs o Must be able to stand on your feet for an 8hr shift o Must be at least 21 years of age o Have a general knowledge of draft beer systems o Familiarity with Microsoft office suite o Willing to schedule and receive a COVID-19 vaccination after employment is accepted JOB EXPECTATIONS o Help create and meet tap room financial objectives as they relate to overall brewery goals. o Manage taproom employees across multiple on site bar locations. o Manage and maintain tap room budget. o Manage inventory and participate in merchandise selection to forecast inventory needs (glassware, growlers/crowlers, retail kegs and cans, wine, cider, soda) o Manage the sales and execution of both private and public events. o Detect taproom areas needing improvement to achieve optimal customer service, brand recognition and sales goals. o Set daily schedule for taproom employees. o Work collaboratively with kitchen and production staff. o Create and maintain a pleasant taproom environment. o Provide bartenders with training on Arryved POS system, foster a continuing education. o Have a willingness to step into FOH positions as needed. o Serve as POC for all tasting room related inquires. o Compile and balance cash register at end of day. o Perform various financial activities such as cash handling and cash deposits o Resolve customer complaints. o Submit purchase and pricing requests for supplies and equipment to ensure quality and timely customer service. o Analyze operational problems such as theft and waste and procedures to alleviate these problems. o Participate in hiring and firing of FOH employees to ensure excellent customer service, adherence to PDX brewery policy and maintain adequate staffing levels SALARY o Dependent on experience o Free beer allotment o Merch allotment o Unlimited high 5’s (pending COVID-19 restrictions)
