After the artist is satisfied with his or her painting over the water, it is time to put a piece of paper or fabric on top of the water. Once it’s lifted off of the water, the painting is transferred from the water onto the fabric or paper. Eve...ry piece of Marbling Art is unique because it is not possible to paint an exact design over the water again.
