Stepanakert, Artsakh’s capital city and Shushi today. More than 100 long range missiles landed on the city today raising the total number of civilian deaths to ...19, causing 2100 private property damage, and 350 infrastructure and public property damage. The main art center in Shushi, destroyed today, was a center for young talents to unleash their dreams and creativity. This is what happens when uneducated, uncivilized, and barbaric people meet civilzation and a progressive country. This is what happens when they start losing on the frontlines and fail miserably on every single military skirmish. This is what happens when the civilized world remains silent when atrocities are committed around the world. This is what happens when previous genocides continue to be denied and perpetrators go unpunished. But, make no fault, you will fail miserably again because we have ferocious men on the frontlines, because we have teachers gathering kids and students and teaching them in the shelters and under your missiles, and because we have a unified Armenia, Artsakh and diaspora. We will win this war for the smile, future and safety of our kids. #RecognizeArtsakh #ArtsakhStrong #wewillwin See more

This is the beautiful 10th Century Gandzasar Monastery deep in the mountains of Artsakh. From 1400-1816, it was the residence of the leader of the Armenian Chur...ch. Through the ages, this Monastery served also as a seminary and library with a large array of manuscripts. Through Artsakh, you will find ancient churches and monasteries like this. For example: Vancassar church, near Martakert, 7 century Church of the Resurrection of the Blessed Virgin, Hadrut, 1621 Church of John the Baptist, Shushi, 1818 St. John the Baptist Church, Martakert, 1881 Cathedral of the Holy Savior, Shushi, 1888 Amaris Monastery Amaras, Sos, 4th century Tsitsernavank Monastery, Tsitsernavank, 5th century. Gandzasar monastery, Vank, 10th century Catarovank Monastery, Hadrut Krai, 4th century Arakial Monastery, Martakert region, 5th century You can see just how this region has been central to the life and faith of Armenians for centuries.
