Sometimes it's more than reading. Yesterday Spud heard a story and then our volunteer got a primer on slime... its characteristics, how to get a good poke sound, care and storage, decorating and a warning that if you get it in your hair you have to bring out the scissors.

After spending the holidays reading Ann Patchett, Sully was happy to be read a simpler story by Asha yesterday afternoon thanks to the @mm_jccmanhattan Gift of Literacy tutoring program. #therapydogs
