My name is Julia Bevan and I’m The Cookie Lady! Making custom cookies is something I truly have a passion for. It means so much more to me to be bake for others, because it came from such a deep rooted tradition in my life with family. Every year, my Grandma, Mom, Sister and I choose a weekend in December to bake all our Christmas cookies with each other. It’s been a tradition since we were kids. Now we get to include our children as well. We make so many different cookies. ...Black Pepper cookies (my fave!), peanut butter kiss cookies (my grandpa’s and my hubby’s favorite), of course the sugar cookie cutouts, and so many more. To this day, I still use my mom’s sugar cookie recipe (thanks mom!). One Christmas, my sister showed me a tutorial on how to make royal icing. I had never even heard of royal icing! But, that was all it took. She unlocked a hidden talent of mine and I’ve been a cookier ever since! As a hobby baker, I’ve been making custom cookies out of my home for about 5 years now. I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am for all the support I’ve been given! And I am so thankful to my cousin Duane and his wife Stacey for allowing me the opportunity to share my cookies with all of you!

Ellie Jo Bowtique is owned by Alyssa Baker and named after her daughters Eloise and Josie. Alyssa grew up in and lives locally in Kendall. Alyssa is married with 3 children, Gavin, Eloise, and Josie. Ellie Jo Bowtique started a few years ago after Alyssa began creating fun and festive hair bows for her two young girls. It quickly turned into others asking for her specialty bows for their little ones! Alyssa says that making these bows, headbands, and clips are a way for her to use her love for crafting! If Alyssa is not in her "bow room" you can find her at her kids' activities or at The Tree House in Albion, where she is the assistant preschool program director and teacher. Alyssa is always willing to help create the perfect bow for any birthday, holiday, or event! She has many different styles and is always creating new inventory for every holiday or "just for fun" bows!
