Happy Easter! Happy Spring! The horses and I wanted to check in and let you know that we are well. Those of us with 4 legs are shedding! I miss all of my students and the ways that you enrich my life: the pure joy of the younger ones, the sincerity of the teens, the thoughtfulness of my young adults and the perseverance of those who have ridden all their life. Finally a bottomless thank you to the heart, "hands and feet" of those who are sacrificing so much to care for others during this time like no other.

I am so thankful for the extraordinary equines, superb students, hard-working humans, and beautiful barn cat for daily gracing my life. I learn from you all daily.

Best riding camp ever thanks to Rood and Riddle! Laura Kestner guided us on an unforgettable tour of the facility. Dr. Larry Bramlage took time to chat - and then we watched the master at work! What other horse camp has observed induction, surgery AND recovery! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Best wishes to the amazing JUSTIFY as he heads to retirement.

Pipes wrapped - check. Blankets on - check. Liners on - check. Hot water to horses at 5 am, 10 am, 3 pm and 8 pm - check. Two hour turn-out in indoor - check. Plenty of hay - check. Big hug for each - check. Praying all stay safe, warm and comfortable - check.

So thankful for my caring and compassionate boarders, lessees and students. I am honored by your trust and your friendship. And to our precious gifts from God - our horses - my utmost gratitude for your love, your healing and the life lessons you teach. Happy thanksgiving!

Shout out to the academic accomplishments of Lauren Balsamo: scores of 98-100 on English, trig, chem and history NYS Regents - and Ally Molnar: high honor roll 8th quarter in a row and 7 student recognition awards. FANTASTIC!
