COMMUNITY #Repost @ekapadacatasana Another awesome Chakra Flow with @danajarry at @afterglowli. Every week she concentrates on one of the chakras. Dana even lights up the room to reflect the color of the chakra of the week. This week was throat chakra, or vishuddha, and the corresponding color is blue. It looked so cool , I was waiting all class to find the right moment to, as quietly as possible, sneak a few pix. . We need to get those pictures in while we can.... Sadly, Afterglow will be closing it’s physical doors soon. However, online offerings will not only continue, but expand. You may have noticed we’ve been a bit quieter than usual these last few weeks. We’ve been taking some quiet time to shift. Our owner Dana is expecting her first baby (yay ~ due in June!) and the energy of birth is creating new things and experiences. The pandemic has completely shifted the studio and allowed us to birth a remarkable online yoga experience that has served our community (and beyond) since March. Now it’s time for us to make an even deeper shift. With the incre...dible feedback we’ve gotten on our digital offerings and programs we’ve decided to launch a whole new experience in 2021. One with deeper offerings and more meaningful content. A digital experience that will work for YOU as an individual and offer a full spectrum of yogic teachings. More on that to come... As we make this shift, we’ll be letting go of our physical studio space and embracing our new name (Atha Yoga Training), but we won’t be forgetting the beautiful memories and experiences we’ve had in our purple hOMe. We are so grateful for the incredible community having our physical space has allowed us to create and even more excited to continue to serve and connect in the ways that work best for you all. From the bottom of our hearts thank you! Our last classes at the Amityville studio will be held on Saturday December 19th.
