Ahira Hall Memorial Library wishes the Portland-Brocton community a very happy holiday season. The library thanks the community for their continued patronage and support. The library will be closed for the holiday on Thursday, December 31st and Friday, January 1st, 2021. The library will reopen at 2:00pm on Monday, January 4th, 2021.

Shift Key vs. Caps Lock for Capital letters: Hold down the shift key when you want to capitalize just one letter. Pressing and letting go of the Caps Lock key will make all the letters capitalized. Just remember, when writing an email, try not to use all Capital letters. Some people think it is rude.

There is a mouse in my house! No reason to be scared of the computer mouse. It helps you point and click where you want to go when browsing a web page or playing a game. Left click will activate links, pictures or put the cursor where you want in a search bar. Right click will bring up a menu that gives you additional options of things you can do with the mouse. Try it!
