The festive holiday fun continues! Libet Calderon of AHRC’s Day Services Program was the first to participate in a holiday scavenger hunt, this month. In addition to celebrating the season at The Milleridge Village, the scavenger hunt strengthens executive functioning skills, including planning, memory, organization, time management, self-monitoring, adaptive thinking, and coordination. #ahrconnections #ahrcdayservices

Congratulations to AHRC Nassau Executive Director Stanfort Perry, who will become Board Chair of NYSID, Purchasing That Powers Employment. Headquartered in Albany, NYSID is a statewide nonprofit creating employment opportunities for New Yorkers with disabilities. Perry most recently served as Vice Chair of NYSID’s Board of Directors.
