It’s often very hard to know when an animal is suffering. Their signs of pain are subtle and it’s also part of their survival instinct to hide pain. Are Pig Ears among your dog's favorite treats? It might be time to try a different goody. The FDA and CDC are advising pet owners to avoid buying any pig ears at this time due to a suspected connection between an outbreak of salmonellosis in humans and pig ear treats. If you have pig ear treats in your home, get rid of them!

August 22nd is National Take your Cat to the Vet Day! Cats are masters at hiding sickness and pain. Your cat could be developing a health condition long before you notice anything is wrong. If your cat has not been in to see us in over a year, call the office to schedule a visit.
