Texas Lux in the Rough.. In the vast rugged remote area outside of the already remote Marfa pops up @CiboloCreekRanch a gem of a resort with its own private airstrip. Guided jeep tours of breathtaking terrain and a Big Blue Sky (after living in NYC we sure appreciate these things), quail hunting, horseback riding, meals by a chef that consistently rock the pallet, fabulous wines, Mexican coffees, bonfires anytime of day, practicing my latest hobby at the gun range, a private... party that has in tow an awesome band @dougmoreland , learning the 2-step ha!, adobe fireplaces in the rooms, super friendly staff and guests, the proprietor - John is one of the most kind, gracious and humble men you could meet. And as an interior designer I gotta weigh in on this right? In a nutshell: A brilliant and precise execution combining history, the local flavor, ranch rustic, color and texture keeping it cool and casual with modern comforts and all with a nod to its authentic heritage.
