Reminder to #FREEyourFEET . Conventional shoe design has been out to get you since day one! Our feet are designed and meant to spread and create a wide base of support, not be shoved into a pointy toed torture contraption. ... You don't need to spend money on toe-spreaders if you don’t want to...just use your hands! #MoveSmartLiveBetter See more

Here’s some DYNAMIC Loading... that I especially like for my Warm Up, after I get through my HANG series. See the previous post on that one. Love me some clubbell/Indian club action for Shoulder Stability and multi-directional loading. Notice that I keep the weight fairly low and manageable through the high-complexity movements. ... 1 The first pattern here challenges frontal and transverse plane stability for the entire body, in addition to coordinating the Shoulder Capsules with the Scapular movement, improving your ScapuThoracic Rhythm. Fancy word for making your Shoulder work well with your ShoulderBlade and Ribcage. 2 Second pattern is a version of a kettlebell swing, reinforcing the Anti-Extension Spinal Stability, as we drive with the posterior chain , primarily the Glutes. It also requires more from your grip and ShoulderBlade stability with the simultaneous UniLateral load. #MoveSmartLiveBetter See more

Here’s another great accessory drill to round-out your training for Movement/Martial Arts. BALL SLAMS! The explosive nature of this drill is great for targeting those FAST-TWITCH muscle fibers.... Additionally, I’m using a SPLIT-STANCE to challenge stability at the same time. Do your best to get the action from your SHOULDERS and keep your CHEST & SPINE upright! #MoveSmartLiveBetter See more
