WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME There is nothing quite like a good book. Holding a physical hard cover book or paperback and opening to the first page. The texture and the smell of a book are as important as the words on the page. Holding the book makes it feel more personal somehow. Reading on an electronic device changes everything. I confess most of my shopping is done online these days. I will search for products on Amazon and get them within a day or two. The products ar...e delivered as ordered but it feels empty. The whole experience is lacking that intimacy. Touching that sweater, feeling the weight of it, it becomes tangible. It becomes yours. On a typical day customers come in, grab a cup of coffee, and sit at a chair across from Sean, Billy, Anna, Debbie, or Jimmy etc. Conversation flows naturally about holidays, happenings in life, family, sports, or health (politics for the brave). There is something very real and tangible about the relationship between the customers and the staff. As our customer base grows and new faces arrive that comradery seems to have that same feel as page one of a new book. We welcome our new customers and thank our long time customers. Hopefully you don’t think of us like Amazon and more like Cheers where everybody knows your name.
