All American Powerwashing's 10-Step Polymeric Sand Prep & Installation will make your pavers look the absolute best they can. Many companies provide regular masonry sand which will be washed away the next time it rains hard. We are different because we provide polymeric sand which gets hard (similar to concrete) which will last years and years. It's a labor-intensive process but we take the necessary steps to ensure that the job is done correctly the first time including: 1) ...Softwash the area with cleaners & detergents including our Enviro-Bio degreaser which protects all grass/landscaping. 2) Make 2 passes with a surface cleaner using hot water to completely wash all pavers. 3) Use our turbo-nozzle to remove any stuck weeds/moss. 4) Rinse/wash down the entire area making sure all soaps, detergents, dirt, grime, moss, mildew, algae is completely removed. 5) Using a pick, remove any stubborn weeds/moss in between the pavers. 6) Blow-down the entire area and triple-check that the area is 100% ready for the polymeric sand. 7) Spread the polymeric sand making sure to get in every single crack being careful to provide a uniform application. 8) Blow off extra polysand on the surface of the pavers since we only want the sand to get in between them. 9) Carefully mist down the entire area to activate the sand and begin the hardening process. This step is crucial to do correctly because if you don't do this correctly you can cause pitting/gaps/holes in the sand. 10) Make sure everything dries and mist the entire area one more time to fully cure the sand and make sure that everything looks perfect.
