Happiest of New Years! 3 years it’s been since serenity has been open and 15 years since I started my own salon! Tell me some of your milestones!

The words thank you doesn’t feel like it’s good enough. The love and support you all have shown to me and my business is incredible, humbling and heartwarming. This year was hard on so many, being shut down for so long was so hard to come back from. Sticking by, reaching out to show caring and concern is what has gotten me through. I hope you know I recognize and appreciate each one of you. From supporting my new venture of my boutique, to sharing my business and of course ...for the people who have stuck by me and supported the changes that have happened in the past few years. I love you all and wish I could hug each and every one of you. No matter how you supported me I appreciate and see you! I have read all of your beautiful cards, amazing texts and generous gifts! Thank you so much for caring for me and respecting my job! Also thank you for helping me raise a little money with the face mask campaign. My family and I truly appreciate it! I am coming up with a phased reopening that I will be sharing info on in the next week. While most hudson valley hairdressers are opening in Phase 2 I have decided for me I wasn’t ready with the amount of guidelines that are ...rightfully written. I am hoping to begin in the beginning of July but will be making more definitive decisions next week. I will be in contact ASAP! With that being said I miss you so much more than you know! Oh and I know your hair misses me almost as much. Please know I will make sure to get to each and every one of you in the most efficient and fast way possible I have almost finished putting together a form that will help me to schedule you in the correct length of appointment time and will be sending that out soon. Any info you give will help me figure out the best way to help and give me enough time to be able to. We are hanging in and trying to stay as sane as possible with two small crazy children. I am selling masks for $10 starting next week. They will have a cute design and definitely help us both. ... Hi all! I miss you guys so much! I just saw this and I feel this so deeply. If you need to take care of it I promise I will not shame you. I understand how hard this is...I’m scared to death just like all of you. We will figure it out when this is all over. Promise All I care is that you, your family, and children are safe. Please reach out if you need to talk because I know my job is so much more than hair. I miss you all deeply and think of you every single day. I miss stories of your family and hearing about all of it Love and prayers to you all. I am here if you need anything. And don’t forget if you need shampoo or product I can order you that as well!

As fear moves across our country I wanted to make my customers feel safe by assuring safety and cleanliness is top priority. Being a solo act ensures not a lot of cross contamination and between each client the chairs, sink, and knobs are wiped with Clorox disinfecting wipes. I have sanitizing hand wipes available as well as use of the sink. I promise If my children,family, or I come down with it I will cancel appointments, but until then I will resume business as usual.... On my brushes and combs I use a hospital grade disinfectant always. Please stay safe and use your own comfort level with your own situations and family situation. As always I will never be mad if you cancel due to sickness. Please let me know if you need anything. Xoxo

An awesome stylist friend of mine shared this and I couldn’t have said it any better myself. When you are going through a hard time, I feel you. I hold your heart in my hands. I never want anyone to feel as if this was just about money, it’s about my connection to you. People often ask why I get upset people leave, I’m not worried about losing them as a client they are my friends, my family. I understand when people leave (I don’t hold it against anyone to move on) but I ha...te when they leave me as a person. We were always told in learning not to get attached to people, but what we do is so personal. If you were ever a client of mine, or a client of the girls I worked with... I think of you often. I hope I never make it uncomfortable when I see you and it’s not because I am trying to get you back but you were a piece of my heart, and will always be. I will always be here. I have always cared and I always will. I’m blessed to have the ability to do the job I absolutely love and I am grateful to share it with you.
