To all our Friends, So the latest is that all three of our restaurants are now closed. The important thing to know is that as soon as the coast is clear, we will be back. This thing might have bent us pretty good, but we are not broken. Far from it. Our relationships with our winemaker, cheese maker, spice grinder, distiller, bee-keeper, farmer, rancher, baymen, hunter, fisherperson, forager friends continue to nourish us. And our crew is chomping at the bit to get b...ack to providing that spirit of warmth, conviviality and bonhomie that has defined us for 19 years. Beloved friends, loyal attendees and neighbors, at the moment our first and main concern is your and our staff health and safety, as we at Almond are closely monitoring the city, state, and federal safety recommendations about the spread of the COVID-19 virus. First and foremost, we are observing the city and state’s guidelines for running a business, such as the state mandate regarding social distancing and limiting our capacity to 50%, taking effect this evening. Also, we h...ave implemented every possible measure to ensure a safe environment, such as sanitizing the restaurant by disinfecting all surfaces, restrooms, and kitchen areas before and after every meal throughout the evening, and overnight after we have closed. Training and monitoring all employees for vigilant sanitary practices include personal washing, cleaning, and sanitary service techniques. Closely monitoring the health of our staff and enforcing a stay at home policy for any staff feeling or exhibiting even the slightest symptoms. We at Almond remain confident this great city & country will regain normality as quickly as possible! You’ve been there for us for the past 11 year’s, we will always be there for you!
