Brothers, It’s that time of year again and NO SHAVE NOVEMBER is in full swing. DONATE: https://no-shave.org/member/mrivera3133... I am once again participating on my agency’s team, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle. Last year I was able to raise close to $1500 from the generosity of your donations and I won the competition within my agency. What does it mean to win? It means that I got to grow out a beard for two months. I was able to keep it until January 1. Please consider donating to this cause. I too have been touched by cancer within my extended family resulting in the death of loved ones. Some day we will have a cure for cancer but in the meantime we need to keep research and support services running to help those afflicted.If you donate, please let me know so I can thank you. Our first event is tomorrow when alumnus, Medical Device CEO and RPI Silicon Valley Arch chairman Rich Lotti will spend an hour in the formal room talking to current and prospective brothers.
