The Altmar Fire department will be having another chicken barbecue on 8-28-21. 7 dollars a half and 12 dollars a dinner. Dinners will also include a drink. Chickens will be available at 11am until sold out. As always, thank you for your support.

Altmar volunteer fire department would like to congratulate yesterday's poker run winners, 1st place Nick Bedetti of Newburgh fire company, who donated winnings back to Altmar. 2nd place Nathan Kerrick 3rd place Shawn Engle. Thanks for all your support.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Altmar Volunteer fire department at our Annual ATV poker run. We had a great turn out and beautiful weather. Hope to see you all next year.

Hello friends, As of now our ATV event is still on for June 5th. There are a couple rules that must be followed per the ATV club, no machines over 1500 pounds and no machines over 70 inches wide. Thank you and we hope to see you all there.

The Altmar fire department would like to congratulate Chief Bill Holcomb for 55 years of service to the fire department. Bill puts in countless hours to make our community a better place. Thanks Chief for being such an inspiration.

Due to covid-19 the Altmar Volunteer Fire Department has made the difficult decision to cancel our annual ATV ride for August 29, 2020. If allowed we will be back for 2021.

On August 8th the Altmar Fire Department will be having a chicken BBQ at our meeting location, 13 Church St. Dinners will include half chicken, baked beans, salt potatoes, and a dinner roll for $12.
