Rikimoto to Amazing Journeys to ensure the safety of our parents & children of Amazing Journeys: Please be sure you are screening ALL staff and students prior to entering your building with the questions and temperature taking. All staff must wear face coverings while working with the children. Children are NOT required to wear a face covering but can if they want to. If children are brought out of ...your building on a walk or somewhere else they DO NEED to wear face coverings in public. We are sharing this with you to inform you that Amazing Journeys Staff will follow all regulations set forth by OCFS to ensure the safety of your children. Dear Amazing Journeys, "The ABCs of Covid-19: A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Parents" will air on Saturday, May 30. It will tackle issues such as summer safety, play dates, schooling and how kids and families around the world are creatively coping during these challenging times. Good Afternoon Amazing Journeys Parents, Amazing Journeys will be reopening Monday, June 1, 2020 to provide daycare services. Please be assured that staff will adhere to all Covid 19 regulations that are set forth by the Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS). Staff & students will get their temperature taken every day upon arrival to the program & it will be noted.... Anyone who’s temperature is above normal will not work or attend the program until their temperature is back to normal. This is for the safety of the students & staff. The center will be cleaned and sanitized thoroughly daily. All student will adhere to the social distance rule (6 feet) set forth by Governor Cuomo. Students must bring their iPad or tablet to do their online work with their teacher. Staff will monitor and ensure that students will log in on time & be an active participant in their online classes. Our goal to help the students finish off the school year strongly. Students will get breakfast and an afternoon snack. They must bring their lunch. (No peanut butter and or peanut butter products.) Please respond to this text message. We must know the amount of children who are attending because we have to forward the information to OCFS. They need to ensure that all daycare programs are following the student to staff ratio rules.
