I think the average American needs to start making themselves heard. We hear what Trump thinks, and what the medical community recommends, and the governors are doing something else entirely. The greatness of this country is founded on representation of what all of us want. I know we see the "protesters" speaking out, what about the majority that is just trying to survive this mess? I for one think we should side with the medical communities recommendations. Lets not just follow blindly because things are decided for us without ever being heard. What do you think? Who do you trust to know this virus is not going to kill millions of if we open up at the wrong time?

How. How. HOW IS IT OKAY that both sides differ so greatly? It is beyond understanding that even this time doesn't unite the 2 sides.. The only logical reason could be we are in desperate need of a leader to unite them. If anyone can give me one example of how the president has even attempted to unite the right and the left please do so. For the record both sides should be ashamed that they haven't united during the pandemic. With that said if there should be one man to fix it, it has to be our president. More people are going to die because of this.

Is Joe Biden and his camp just as bad as the rest or is this just extreme prejudice by the NY Times? These days does anyone even care if a politician is a pig? If our president can get away with it the lines are looking pretty blurry (not condoning it btw). But who is worse I say the NY times for doing their best to repeatedly influence peoples opinions rather than reporting a story. This is one of our most influential sources and a large portion of the population look to them for facts. Instead they are giving us tainted reporting.

There was basically 1 location in the entire world that was prepared for this virus. Spoiler alert - It wasn't the US. So whose fault is it that we were not ready. My opinion, that is completely irrelevant at this stage of this process. Laying blame while we are in the midst of this is not going to manifest more supplies. Further more as I previously stated 99 percent of the world was not ready for this. The only place that contained the spread was Hong Kong even in spite of being so close to the start of all this mess. Unfortunately there is no going back now and along this vein we can only move forward. So lets start moving forward with our leaders not blaming each other for whose fault it is our country is running out of supplies. Can a country be prepared for something as unprecedented as this?

I feel like there is something not being reported. I should say I hope there is some information left out. If this is the whole story, Senate Democrats should be embarrassed with themselves.

Blowing the Lid off - I think not. I have not been a defender of this president at all. There are so many rants I have been unable to control I have lost count. This article is definitely make a mountain of a mole hill. Trump's 3 trusts own portfolio's encompassing the whole of the US stock market. They happen to contain an approximate 3% stake in the same company that makes the antimalarial drug. The problem the company began making this drug in the 50's and it is easily acquired generically.

Is there a reason a Chinese-American cannot call to action people from his ethnic community? His statements seem to be well intentioned while calling out people to the community to rise above the actions of some close-minded halfwits.
