FREE ONLINE SUPPORT GROUPS FOR HEALTHCARE WORKERS AND EMERGENCY RESPONDERS Dear Frontline Responder, The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress is working with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology and CISM Perspectives in coordinating online groups for healthcare workers and emergency first responders. Currently, there are over 80 volunteers offering supportive and educational interventions. ... These groups will offer a safe space to discuss the collective trauma as well as workplace experiences, personal and family crises, compassion fatigue and self-care strategies. The Academy has launched in new website at www.AAETS.org. Please visit it and provide feedback to the executive board. The new website will include four directories and the ability to manage your Academy account online. It will also allow members to complete and submit applications and documentation for certifications in Traumatic Stress and Crisis Management Specialities and the advanced credentials (Diplomate and Fellowship) directly online.
