In her first collaboration with Rhye, Tony Award-nominated choreographer Sonya Tayeh will premiere 'What Becomes of Love?' With dance commissioned by American Ballet Theatre and a film co-commissioned by National Sawdust, the piece features music by the Canadian musician Rhye (Michael Milosh) a raw, romantic medley of silky falsetto vocals and cascading piano, synthesizer, and violin instrumentation. Tayeh choreographed the work in tandem with her cast of ABT dancers in a q...uarantined "ballet bubble" in upstate New York. This episode features Ballet Theatre Principal dancer, Isabella Boylston in collaboration with master chef and restauranteur, Marcus Samuelsson. I first learned about Marcus from my Swedish mother, who proudly talked about him as a fellow Swede and someone who had found great success as a chef and entrepreneur in New York. I was so excited to get to know him and collaborate with him. It was fun learning about his childhood and how his unique background and diverse experience...s have shaped his artistry.
