American Legion Post 80

The American Legion Post is again in need of quarters. Because of the Covid Virus, we can't get rolled quarters at our bank. So if you have a stash of quarters and are looking to exchange them...come to the legion office.

American Legion Post 80 will be closed Thanksgiving Day. Enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

Today Govenor Cuomo has removed Broome County from the Yellow Zone Covid restrictions. While I am not certain about what capacity that events can have at the Legion, we still must maintain the virus protocols. Masks, sanitize. If you feel sick stay home. All those attending future events will still have to sign in and have temperatures checked. For the time being event capacity will be limited to 50.

This year 2020 like everything else affected by the Covid Pandemic, the Bandera Chistmas Dinner is also impacted. There will be no sit down eating on December 25th. Meals will be either delivered or take out. Orders for meals will be starting December 1st. Those wishing for meal delivery can start calling 211 on December 1st from the hours of 9am through 5pm. The signup cutoff is noon on December 23rd.
