just a suggestion in getting ready for the coming school year.....

I am hoping today finds you and everyone you love in good health, spirits and anxious to try and reassemble the new "normal." Over the last couple of months I have been actively helping my wife remotely teach her 1st grade class as well as exploring ways to make my office safer for all of you! The NYS Dental Association, Governor Cuomo and scientific data have been the driving forces in when, what and how we will be able to practice dentistry. As always my first and foremost... concerns are for you and your children. The knowledge that the Covid-19 virus is spread by aerosols puts a severe restriction on how dentistry will be practiced for now and possibly the future. You will notice several permanent as well as temporary changes to the office and how we will practice. No more slide or waiting room (for now) as we will only take one family at a time and spread appointments between families so we can disinfect, clean and of course wash our hands! Social distancing will be practiced by only operating every other chair. Of course there will be no aerosols and if there is the need for extensive operative work (major cavities) we will schedule this in a completely isolation time. Please know that if there are any concerns I am always available for phone or teledentistry consultation to allay any and all of your fears or concerns!
