Life changing commitment is small and mostly goes unnoticed. In fact, commitment is nothing more than a bowing of the head. Once the head has bowed, inspired thoughts and enlightened activity follow. There are no public vows or declarations required. No witness to the fact needed. The body itself has recorded and embodied the commitment. The chin tucks in, the eyes lock, the crown of the head rises, aligning, as the back straightens and the shoulders gently roll forward in... readiness. It is found in the darkness of late nights, and early morning mists, without witness, praise or accolade. It’s a solitary thing, made of small consistent, repeating actions, little decisions made in the moment, day after day. Nothing more than a collection of tiny choices completed, without regard for comfort, ease or evidence of results. The big shift, the one that transforms life and changes everything, no going back, demands commitment.
