Therefore, we embrace and celebrate the diversity of race and culture and the richness it brings to ministry and service. We hold to the core values of societal justice with integrity and equity. We reject any appearances that might prove discriminatory and the social processes of marginalization and the disenfranchisement of any people. We further reject any racially charged bias or intent that negatively impact the health, wealth, faith, and unity of the Body of the Believers in Christ. Our hearts are grieved by the violent mistreatment of anyone because of the color of their skin. We further believe that we are responsible for the manner in which we honor one another. We willingly take the charge of loving our neighbor as ourselves, even when, in a world of hatred, crime, and racial abuse. We will personify the answers of racial reconciliation and restoration through honest dialogue coupled with good intent. We will not be guilty of devaluing the life of our fellow man but, rather, offer the endless possibilities of life in Christ to those of all races or cultures. We will listen to understand and with that understanding continue our Kingdom assignment. We commit to continuously offer intercession for the families who have been victimized by crimes of privilege and racial supremacy. We will also pray for ourselves; that we will not falter in our ambassadorship of the cross. Lastly, as racial tension surges in our communities and throughout the world today, or anytime, we commit to always be mindful of YOU. We will value what you value, human life. We will take action when needed with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. We are praying for the families of Ahmed Aubrey and George Floyd and all those employed to serve and protect.
