ANDRUS is proud to partner with Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship to offer our children the unique opportunity to bond with and care for horses through their Equine Therapy Program. ***** From grooming and feeding to trotting and jumping, our children are building self esteem, empathy, and self regulation, all while having fun!

Congratulations to our new ropes course facilitators in completing our most extensive Ropes Course training yet, spanning over the course of two months. ******* This team experienced firsthand the power of our Ropes Challenge Course to facilitate effective communication, collaborative problem solving, trust, teamwork, personal perseverance, and fun! ***** Along with our previously trained Ropes Course Facilitator Team, they will be utilizing the course for recreation therapy programming, clinical groups, staff team building sessions and more.

This past Wednesday evening, the Business Council of Westchester honored this year's 40 Under 40 Rising Stars, and our very own Fabiola Abreu kicked off the program as the first of the honorees. The forty recipients of this award, all who are under 40 years old, were chosen because of their "exemplary leadership, foresight, and vision for the future of Westchester County." Fabiola is the Director of Care Management and Community Projects here at ANDRUS, as well as a Sanctuary Institute Faculty Member. Fabiola is an innovative and transformational leader who understands the needs of children, families, and communities to ensure successful outcomes. Congratulations Fabiola!

As we prepare to start the school year next week, ANDRUS would like to thank all those friends and supporters who contributed to our Back To School initiative this year.
